A Two-Day Winter Festival in Snowy Kutchan
On February 14–15, 2026, I visited Kutchan Yukitopia at Kutchan Chuo Park (behind the Kutchan Culture & Welfare Center) ❄️ It’s a lively winter event where snow sculptures, play areas, and food stalls come together in one place.

At the Kutchan Yukitopia Festival, I tried the JGSDF PR booth games (capsule toy and “slackout”), took photos with local characters, and enjoyed so many food stalls that I ended up buying xiaolongbao two days in a row 😊
Must-Check Highlights This Season
If you go this season, these are the highlights I’d “must-check” to make the most of your time—each one felt like a clear win while walking around the venue ✅
① Giant Tube Slide (Tube Park)
I caught it when the line was still manageable, so I could ride without spending the whole day waiting. The speed and snowy scenery make it a top photo moment.

② JGSDF PR Booth: Games & Mini Activities
The capsule toy and slackout were easy to join, and it added a fun “challenge corner” vibe to the festival route.

③ Food Stalls You’ll Want to Repeat
There were so many good options that I went back for xiaolongbao on both days. Hot food outdoors in winter hits different.

④ Snow Sculptures & Character Photos
Between the snow sculptures and meet-and-greet style photo moments, it’s easy to build a “walk + shoot” route without getting bored.

⑤ Scenic Night 2026: Candlelight Atmosphere
I was lucky to catch candle displays and a fun stage moment (including the “Ojii Dancers”). The night-time mood feels totally different from daytime.
